JAKIVY (1) was ridden quietly from a good draw last start before closing nicely to get up for fourth over 5½f at Flemington. Can easily finish right over the top of these. OLIVIA ROSE (10) was far from disgraced when third last start after being prominent at the corner over 6½f at Seymour, beaten 0. 8 lengths. That followed a win at Sandown-Lakeside the start prior. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. LITTLE BIGHORN (7) closed off strongly last start to get up for third, beaten 1. 1 lengths, over 6f at Echuca. Commendable record at this trip with a win and three minor placings and is expected to run well. LAPLAND (6) got off the mark when resuming from a lay-off over 5f at Mornington last start, scoring by a neck. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. This is tougher but he cannot be underestimated.
