PHOENICIAN (4) was well fancied last time but found one better at Echuca, finishing one length adrift at the end of 1m2 1/2f. Will appreciate the extra ground. Should be in the finish again. DIAMOND FLASH ONE (2) was prominent in the run and gave a big sight when second over 1m3f at Sale just eight days ago. Strong run last time and is expected to go well again. DEVINE GRUNT (1) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m2 1/2f at Echuca, beaten 2. 5 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. FEAR NO ONE (3) drifted back and never threatened at his last run a week-and-a-half ago, finishing eighth over 1m2f at Colac. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
