MATAWAI (3) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then was beaten 3. 5 lengths when fourth in a 7f contest at Sandown-Lakeside three weeks ago. Has the class to put the recent run of form behind her. BUTTERNUT PRINCESS (12) returned from a break of four months with a solid fourth last start at Cranbourne over 6f after she gave away a big start. The extra journey should play into her hands.
