Well-placed and will take catching. PENNINE WAY (2) closed last campaign with three consecutive minor placings and is back. After a break of five-and-a-half months. Sure to feature. MACEDON ROSE (10) met with solid support last start over 1m at Ballarat when third, beaten 3 lengths. Can bounce back. BLUE COWBOY (7) accounted for a maiden field over 7f29yards at Sale last start when fresh from a break. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Tougher assignment this time but is one of the main contenders.
