CHEWING GUM (9) continued the good recent form when she finished just 1. 3 lengths away in second last time out over 7f at Ballarat. Reunites with Celine Gaudray who has a win when partnering. Best form puts her right in this. SUN SETTING (3) had been going okay but was safely held last start when 11th over 5½f in the LR Alinghi Stakes at Caulfield. Major player on best form. STAGE 'N' SCREEN (5) returns from a layoff of four-and-a-half months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 6f at Moonee Valley. One to consider. ALTERMATUM (10) doesn't win very often but ran a nice race last time out over 5½f at Geelong, finishing second and beaten half a length. Nicely placed to feature in the finish.
