MISS ALEXIS (11) stepped out on her debut over 7f at this track three weeks ago and finished fourth, beaten 1.5 lengths. Will improve and looks well placed. NIC'S CHOICE (6) is yet to break through after four career starts. Managed to find the placings at Cranbourne two starts back before finishing fourth over 7f at Sandown-Lakeside last time. Cannot be left out of calculations. KHABALOV (5) has not raced since he finished third at Sandown-Hillside five-and-a-half months ago. Looks forward enough judging by his recent trial win. Should park just off the speed and gets his chance to break through. ANTALIAN (8) is fitter for two runs back from a lay-off, progressing nicely last time to finish fifth, beaten 4.5 lengths, at Geelong over 7f27yards. Backmarker who gets home hard. Not to be discounted.
