EAGLE WARRIOR (1) started at 4/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 1.75 lengths at Moe over 1m4f. Finds a nice race and can make amends. MOGADISHU (8) knuckled down strongly to get within 0.6 lengths of the winner in third last start over 1m4f at Moe. Settles back early but winds up late. One of the leading chances. WHISKEY TANGO (3) is progressing well this campaign. Opened with a sixth at Wangaratta two starts back then got the job done by one length last time out over 1m3f at Camperdown. Meets some better types this time but another win beckons. RUADA (6) could only manage seventh two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m4 1/4f at Geelong, beaten 1.4 lengths. Suitably placed so he can be prominent again.
