MACEDON ROSE (12) settled back before coming home strongly to score as favourite on debut over 6½f at Seymour two-and-a-half weeks ago. Will come on following that run and looks tough to hold out again. READY TIGER (8) has a moderate winning strike-rate but did a good job when returning from a break last time at Mornington, finishing third and only 2.5 lengths from the winner at the end of 6f. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is one of the key runners. VADERLEE (11) registered his first win last start over 7f at Cranbourne, getting home by a head. Tougher assignment this time but is one of the main contenders. ZOOMED (13) was beaten 3 lengths into fifth over 5½f at Stony Creek at her latest appearance. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
