OUR TURN NOW (6) was well in commission last time out but could only manage to finish seventh over 1m at Bendigo in a disappointing performance. Taking on a better line-up this time but he is good enough to play a major role. MAGARTEN (1) didn't do a bad job when fourth last start after being prominent at the turn over 1m at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Has a good record at this course and distance, including two wins. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. ARTZINO (2) returned from a lay-off three weeks ago when he was beaten 5.5 lengths into fifth over 7½f at Sandown-Hillside. Perfectly placed and is sure to be there at the finish. SMOKIN' PRINCESS (9) made late ground and finished third last time over 1m at Terang when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 1.75 lengths. In the right race and is a top-three hope.
