I NEVER DREAMED (8) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Moonee Valley, beaten 2.5 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Strips fitter and can take care of this field. LEGIONNAIRE (1) was below his best last time when eighth over 6½f at Sandown-Hillside, beaten 5.5 lengths. Perfectly placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. SUPERSET (6) turned in a strong run two starts ago at this track then failed to back it up over 1m at Caulfield last time, beaten 14 lengths into 15th. Looks better placed over this shorter trip so he shapes as one to consider. VADABOY (4) resumes. After filling a minor placing at his last appearance at sandown-lakeside over 1m2 1/2f on august 6. Hasn't scored when fresh from a break but generally races well with two minor placings. Looks a strong top-three prospect.
