STARTON (7) finished second last start over 7f at this track to make it two minor placings from four runs. Has a sound record here with two top-three finishes from three starts. Nicely placed and expected to go very well. ZOOMED (11) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she settled well back over 6½f at Bendigo, beaten 2.75 lengths into sixth. Taking on a better field but she is worth another chance. . And looks close to a win after finishing a close third last time out over 5f at woolamai. Should enjoy a good run just off the speed. Sure to be competitive. TOBI SARU (5) resumes from a lay-off of five-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish fifth at the latest run over 7¾f at Manangatang. Solid top-three hope.
