STEP QUICK (6) resumes from a lay-off of six months. Could only manage to finish fifth at the latest run over 4½f at Albury. Well placed and happy to have him on top. JUST JOAN (9) was in contention on the corner and ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 6f at Mudgee after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Meets a stronger field but she is good enough to figure in the finish. ENTIRELY OAK (1) is a seven-start maiden who could only manage to finish fourth after being in contention on the corner at his latest appearance over 5f at Sapphire Coast. Among the chances in what looks a nice race for him. ZEALANDS PRINCESS (11) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was beaten 2. 5 lengths when fifth in a 6f contest at Mudgee a week-and-a-half ago. Must raise the bar but this looks well within her grasp.
