FRANKIE'S SHOUT (6) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race when he did his best work late and finished 2. 5 lengths away in fifth last time out over 6½f at Hawkesbury. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is right in contention. DARK THINKER (9) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish 1. 4 lengths back in second over 1m1/2f at Wellington. Finds a tougher race but a win is not out of the question. CROWN LEGEND (2) travelled in a rearwards position then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 4 lengths away in seventh last time out over 7f at Mudgee a week-and-a-half ago. Steps up in distance. Will drift back but wind up late. Should be competitive. TAKE THE CHANCE (7) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 1m1/2f at Wellington, beaten only half a length. Nicely placed to find winning ways.
