MIDNIGHT OPAL (15) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish 1. 75 lengths back in third over 6f at Randwick. Goes up a rung or two but he is capable of another big run. BRAVE ONE (14) resumed last start over 5½f and finished second at Randwick, 2. 5 lengths from the winner. Drops in weight. Jockey switch to Dylan Gibbons who has two wins from three rides. Sure to run well. MAYFAIR (4) got well back over 7½f in the Golden Eagle at Randwick last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 30 lengths away in 16th. Has the class to take this out. WORLD ALLIANCE (13) is going better than form suggests, last time finishing a 3 length seventh over 7f at Randwick. Will find this easier. Well placed and expected to measure up. Among the better hopes.
