GIVING DELIGHT (2) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fourth, beaten 2 lengths, over 5f at Scone. Cherry-ripe now and is expected to feature in the finish. BRITISH STATESMAN (1) was a long way back last start but hit the line well to finish fourth, beaten 4 lengths, over 5f at Orange. One to watch for in the dying stages. RUBI AIR (4) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 5 lengths away in tenth over 7f at Mudgee after being prominent at the corner. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. BEAGLE (8) has not won for a long while. Last raced on March 31 when beaten 5.5 lengths into 11th at Mudgee over 7f after being in the firing line on the turn. Likely improver with strong prospects.
