GIDGEE GUY (13) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Beaumont (Newcastle). Couldn't follow that up last time out when seventh over 6½f at Orange, beaten 7 lengths. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. DEEL STREET (9) failed to run a strong 1m1/2f last start after a close third over 1m at Orange the run prior. Looks better placed over this shorter trip so deserves another chance. MOETTA (1) turned in a nice run when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Scone then missed the placings last time when 6 lengths from the winner in 12th over 5½f at Wellington. Likely improver who can feature in the finish.
