NORTH OF ELI (1) found the line nicely to grab second last time out over 6f at Murwillumbah. Should be getting home hard and is sure to be tough to beat. WATERMELON (5) led into the straight last start over 6¾f at Doomben on soft going but could not sustain the pressure and finished eighth. Faces a far less daunting assignment this time. Sure to go well. SPIRIT OF MILAN (8) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 3.5 lengths away in seventh over 5½f at Ipswich after being in the firing line on the bend. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. MOOTESSA (3) produced a fair effort to finish 2.75 lengths away in second last start over 5½f at Gatton after a win the run before. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
