CHERBOURG (4) finished third over 6f at Murwillumbah in a then missed the frame last time out over 6¾f at Doomben. The blinkers go on. Overdue and looks well placed to break the ice. NEWSBEAT (6) was prominent through the early and middle stages but peaked on his run and finished fifth when resuming over 5¼f at Toowoomba last start. Will find this a little easier than last time. Has winning claims. FAMILY BONDING (11) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Gatton, beaten 4 lengths into fifth. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
