Promising type who looks sure to make a bright start to his career. ALZURRI (2) finished 4 lengths from the winner in fifth last start after being in contention on the bend over 5f at Ballina, an improvement on his tenth on debut at Armidale the run before. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. OAKFIELD PANTHER (10) is a six-start maiden who is well and truly overdue, finishing fourth at Ballina over 5f last time out. Likely improver with strong prospects. SLIM PICKINGS (8) produced a fair effort on debut last time out when 6 lengths from the winner in seventh at Beaudesert over 6f. Looks well placed here and has to be respected.
