WAKANJEJA (6) faded last time to finish eighth over 5½f at Ballarat after showing good early speed. Well placed and will take some running down. KALASEC (7) finished second over 5f at Morphettville Parks at his most recent appearance on August 17. Hasn't scored when fresh from a break but generally races well with two minor placings. Expect him to play a major role. COOL MAGNUM (1) showed good early speed then led into the straight last start before fighting on to finish third, beaten one length, over 6f at this track. Well-placed and expected to feature again. YASUKE (4) returns from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months and is having his first run for a new yard. Finished sixth at Canterbury over 6¼f when when resuming last time in work. Fitter for a minor placing in a recent Oakbank trial.
