HAMNER SPRINGS (3) is a gelding by Tivaci out of Save The Stars making his first appearance. Won a recent Oakbank trial with this rider Todd Pannell steering. Expected to measure up. THE STREAKER (7) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 5f at Mornington after being in contention on the turn. Finds a tougher race but he has the talent to test this line-up. NOETZIE (4) stepped out for the first time last start and was just fair in finishing fourth at Morphettville over 6f, beaten 4.5 lengths. Sure to be competitive. HOT WINGS (9) is resuming from a lay-off of five months and having her first run for the Michael Hickmott yard. Was in the placings when when resuming from a lay-off last campaign at Ballarat over 5½f. Will be fit enough for this following a recent trial win.
