CROWN LEGEND (5) proved too strong two runs ago at Gunnedah. Safely held last time out when 14th over 7½f at Rosehill, beaten 5 lengths. Finds a suitable assignment and can get the job done. COMMANDO JACK (12) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Muswellbrook, finishing second and only a long neck from the winner at the end of 7½f after being in contention on the corner. Has a solid record at this course and distance, including two wins. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. A BOY NAMED SOO (14) returned from a lay-off last start with a strong win by 1. 75 lengths over 6f at Dubbo. Will be better for that latest run and is among the winning hopes again. WASTED DAYS (1) turned in a modest performance when 11th last time out over 6f at Randwick, beaten 4 lengths, after a win at Parkes at the previous outing. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
