THIRSTY JOHN (2) showed early speed from an outside draw last time to lead throughout and score by 4. 5 lengths over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Has a strong association with A Bracho who has been in the saddle for his last four wins. Best form puts him right in this. ZAPPINIT (11) made progress last time out, finishing 4 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 6f at Horseshoe Indianapolis after being prominent at the corner. Has the class to figure prominently. THE DOORMAN (1) is returning from a lay-off of 12 weeks. Finished fourth at Gulfstream Park (Synthetic) over 1m1/4f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Jami C Poole. Sure to make his presence felt. TIME THE AVENGER (12) made progress last time out, finishing 3. 5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 5½f at Mahoning Valley. Well placed to run top-three again.
