CARASHAN CHLOE (9) was too good for a maiden field last start over 1m2f at Penola, scoring by 1.4 lengths. Rochelle Milnes was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Can go right on with the job now. TAKE A PICK (7) was far from disgraced to finish 0.7 lengths away in third last start over 1m2f at Bordertown. That followed a when resuming win at Murray Bridge. Meets a stronger field but he is worth serious consideration. OCTAHEDRON (6) went forward last start over 1m7f at Terang and held on well for second, beaten 2.5 lengths. Looks well placed so expect another big run. BALTIC WAY (1) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 9 lengths away in sixth over 1m2f at Warracknabeal. No surprise to see him in contention.
