PRESS DOWN (1) has had two runs since a break, the latest a 12th over 6f in the G3 Rising Fast (Chatham) Stakes at Flemington, beaten 9 lengths. Lay-off so he is sure to feature in the finish. BOSSY NIC (9) turned in a moderate midfield finish when resuming from a lay-off three weeks ago over 6f at Ballarat. Will find this much tougher but is expected to be in the finish. . Turned in a better run last time when second, beaten a neck, at Morphettville Parks over 6¼f. Can go on to take this out. EPISODIC (14) is having her first run since August 10. Has never missed the top-three at the start of her campaigns, and she did win over 5¼f at Oakbank at the start of last prep. Solid top-three hope.
