VOLCANIC EXPRESS (3) is racing well this campaign, including a last start win over 5f at Murray Bridge to bring up two wins from three runs in the campaign. Should be fitter again for the extra trip. Hard to fault and worth following up. MERCHANT BOSS (1) finished second over 7f at Morphettville Parks last time out following a determined win two runs back. One of the leading hopes. REFRESHING (7) finished fourth over 5½f at Gawler when resuming last start, beaten only 2 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
