Best form puts him right in this. ASTRODEAN (1) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished third at Gawler two starts back then got the job done by 0.6 lengths last time out over 7½f at Gawler. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. SAN LUCIDO (6) has put together back-to-back placings after scoring three back at Balaklava, most recently beaten 1.2 lengths into third over 7½f at Gawler. Looks well placed so expect another big run. STARTS NOW (4) ran below expectations last time at Gawler over 1m2 1/2f, finishing fourth and beaten 5.5 lengths. Reunites with Jake Toeroek who has two wins when on board. One of the better hopes.
