SASQUALAH (3) was a long way back last start but hit the line well to finish fifth, beaten 2 lengths, over 7f43yards at Geelong. Looks suited here and rates a major contender. STRATUM PRIDE (7) wound up strongly last time out to finish 1.2 lengths adrift in second over 7f at this track. Alana Livesey stays on and although yet to win has been in the money on three occasions. Best form puts her right in this. POWERBOUND (2) got the prize two runs ago at Geelong. Less impressive last time out when fifth over 1m at Sale, beaten 4.5 lengths. Meets some better types this time but he has the ability to bounce back. THEODOR (5) went back early from his wide draw over 6½f at Balaklava last time but hit the line strongly to finish fourth. Has ability and a bold showing is expected.
