EIGHT ON THE DOT (5) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing fourth and only 2.5 lengths from the winner at the end of 1m1 3/4f. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. SAVSONIC (6) stuck on well to finish second last start over 1m1f at Morphettville, beaten 0.7 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot take this out. BACK ME UP BENNY (7) has been in the money at his last couple of runs, the latest when second over 1m1f at Halidon. Takes on a much tougher assignment but should be competitive. AUTUMN COLOURS (9) returned from a lay-off a week-and-a-half ago when she was beaten 1.75 lengths into fourth over 1m at Hamilton. Strips fitter and can improve.
