SHOWMARA (2) is struggling to break through but hasn't been far away, the latest effort a fourth beaten 2. 75 lengths over 7f67yards at Kilmore. Deserves to break through and looks well placed to break through. WILLIAMSTOWN (1) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1. 4 lengths from the winner in third over 1m at Echuca after being prominent at the corner. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. NORWOODS (4) finished fourth two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 7½f at this track, beaten only 1. 75 lengths. This doesn't look as hard so he is a major player. GRAND SAGE (6) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was beaten 6 lengths into fifth over 6f at Sale. Fitter and sure to run well.
