Strong chance this line-up. RUBY AVENUE (1) returns after four-and-a-half months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a ninth over 5½f at Pakenham Synthetic. Launched last prep with a minor placing at this track over 5f. Has ability and is a solid chance. GOOD ONYA CHAMP (7) has not raced since his debut on June 10 over 5f at Seymour when he finished seventh, beaten 5. 5 lengths. Interesting move to remove the blinkers this prep. One of the better hopes. BAS RELIEF (11) is facing the starter for the first time. By Brazen Beau and is out of the Tony & Calvin McEvoy stable. Proved too sharp in a recent Flemington trial.
