MERRIGOLD (5) did well when resuming over 5f at Moe last start, finishing second and beaten one length. Will prove hard to beat. KOROBEINIKI (1) was never in contention when 4.5 lengths from the winner in fifth over 7f at Pakenham last start, a less impressive effort than her fourth at Pakenham the run before. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. SOCIALLY SASSY (9) is a strong fresh performer back after a break of four-and-a-half months and looking to emulate her win at this track to kick off the last campaign. Ran seventh in a trial at Traralgon over 4¾f recently. Has ability and should be right in the finish. HIGH TOR (3) was prominent at the turn and finished third last time over 6f at Geelong, beaten 3.5 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. Placed to advantage so expect another forward showing.
