JESSUP (4) missed the frame in town lastest but not disgraced when fifth at Caulfield Heath and does tend to run well here. Sound record at this distance with two wins and six minor placings from 10 runs and is right in this. MINTMAN (6) started at 11/4 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 6 lengths at Kilmore over 7¼f. Likely improver with strong prospects. TACITO (3) resumed over 6f at this track last start and after showing little early speed closed hard to score by one length. Among the chances again. EARTH GOD (8) has been in the market at his last couple of starts since resuming but hasn't made an impression, last start finishing sixth over 5½f at Ararat. Can sneak into the finish.
