THELMA'S BEL (10) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing 2.75 lengths from the winner in fourth over 5f at Moe. Leading player with plenty of improvement in store. LI'L BRAZEN (7) was prominent on straightening and stuck on well to finish second last start over 5f at Bairnsdale, beaten one length when resuming. Meets a stronger field but she is good enough. STAHNADO (9) raced on the speed from the outset last start and finished second, beaten 2.25 lengths, over 5½f at Seymour. Meeting a deeper field this time but she is up to the challenge. LIMB RUNNER (5) returns after five months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a seventh over 5f at Ballarat Synthetic. Solid top-three hope.
