Will prove tough to hold out again. CHICAGO BLUES (6) is back from a lay-off of five-and-a-half months and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 5f122yards at Kilmore. Ran seventh in a trial at Pakenham Synthetic over 5f recently. Expect him to pose a serious challenge. WICKED STORM (8) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fifth, beaten 3 lengths, over 5½f at Bendigo. Will strip fitter and is capable of sharp improvement. Turned in a better run last time when fifth, beaten 1. 2 lengths, at Bendigo over 5f. Will appreciate the drop in grade. Don't underestimate.
