EL CAMPEON (9) has been kept fresh since finishing fifth over 1m6 1/4f at Kyneton four weeks ago. Was a determined winner two runs back. Backmarker who keeps coming. Leading contender. RED SEQUOIA (3) had been in top form landing two consecutive wins but last start missed the frame when seventh over 7¾f at Morphettville Parks. Will find this much easier. Will be hard to stop. HAWKEYEDHOST (8) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when tenth, beaten 6 lengths, over 7f at Horsham. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. BANNERTON (2) made progress last time out, finishing 3.5 lengths from the winner in third over 1m at Donald. This looks a good race for him and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways.
