MINESITE (3) is struggling to break through but has been around the mark lately, last start finishing fourth over 6f122yards at Echuca. Among the leading chances. WANTED IN A GUST (8) was in the firing line on the turn and finished third last start over 5½f at Horsham, beaten one length. Nicely placed to take this out. DAMAS (9) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5f at Sandown-Hillside, beaten 8 lengths. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time.
