Race Tip

SUPEEDO GONZALES (5) missed the placings last time out when beaten 7 lengths in fifth place over 1m1f at this track. Rates highly and expected to feature in the finish. GRUMPYWANTSATISSUE (2) finished second, beaten 2 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6½f at Rockhampton after he was in contention on the corner. In the right race and is one of the big hopes. SHE'S GOT LYRICS (1) hit the frame two starts ago at Doomben but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 3. 5 lengths over 1m1/2f at Ipswich after being prominent at the turn. Has the talent to put the recent run behind her. MAHTIKKAINSTINCT (6) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to finish third, beaten 3 lengths, over 6½f at Rockhampton. Can figure in the finish again.
