BETTER BE READY (3) built on a nice second two starts back at Bowen with success as favourite over 1m1f at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 4 lengths. Sean Cormack scored on him last time and retains the mount. Ideally placed and is sure to play a major role again. TORQUE ESPAGNA (7) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Bowen, finishing fourth and only 1. 2 lengths from the winner at the end of 1m1f. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is capable of a big performance. THE PENSKE FILE (6) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by half a length over 1m1f at Bowen. That continued the good form this campaign, with two wins and three minor placings from six outings. Should be in the finish. EAGLE WARRIOR (5) was far from disgraced when fifth last start over 1m1f at Bowen. That followed a win at Ewan the start prior. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
