MISS SHALAA (7) has been in the placings at both runs this prep, most recently a closing third over 6f at Townsville. Overdue and gets her chance to break through. FLAMENCO ROSE (9) turned in a modest performance when fourth last time out over 7f at Rockhampton, beaten 3 lengths. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Nicely placed to return to winning form. JENNI Set Weights ENESEE (6) was prominent at the turn and finished second last start over 7½f at Rockhampton, beaten 2.25 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. FANCIFUL MR FOX (5) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing third and beaten only 1.4 lengths over 7f at Townsville. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
