SUNSET STORM (1) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by half a length over 1m at Santa Anita (Dirt). Should enjoy a good run just off the speed. Looks well placed so expect another big run. SUPERMAX (7) was safely held when seventh last start over 1m at Santa Anita, beaten 16 lengths. That followed a good when resuming win at Santa Anita. This doesn't look as hard so he is a major player. GAVEA (9) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a ninth over 6½f at Santa Anita (Dirt). This is a nice drop in grade so he is a major player.
