CARPE HORSESHOE (11) is back after a break of four months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 6½f at this track. Rates highly and should take some beating. PAINTBRUSH (5) settled well back when 4.5 lengths from the winner in sixth over 1m1/2f at Sam Houston Park last start, a less impressive effort than her fourth at Sam Houston Park the run before. Ideally placed and is sure to be there at the finish. QUINN ELLA (2) is close to breaking through following a narrow defeat last time over 1m1/2f at Sam Houston Park (Turf). David Cabrera who has scored on her two times retains the mount. Sure to be competitive. SUPER CINDY (7) ran below expectations last time at Sam Houston Park (Turf) over 1m1/2f, finishing fourth and beaten 3 lengths. E Valdez-Jiminez who has two wins when partnering stays on. Don't underestimate.
