STAR DIESEL (1) has a moderate winning strike-rate but did a good job when returning from a break last time at Seymour, finishing third and only 1.75 lengths from the winner at the end of 5f when he made late ground. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. SNAPPY TYCOON (5) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when a nose away in second over 5½f at Ararat. Looks well placed so expect another big run. BRENLYN'S TROOPER (3) hit the frame two starts ago at Albury but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 3.5 lengths over 6½f at Wodonga. Will enjoy a drop in class so he will be hard to beat. AIRCLASH (4) turned in another moderate effort last start when 14 lengths from the winner in 11th over 1m at Moe. Better than recent efforts suggest.
