BEARBRASSBLACKFISH (8) was well found in the betting last time out but could only manage to finish tenth over 1m2f at this track in a disappointing performance. Likely improver with strong prospects. PENDANTE (13) kept coming but just failed to pick up the winner when fresh from a lay-off last start over 7¼f at this track. Should tighten right up following that outing. Placed to advantage so expect another forward showing. SARA'S ROCKET (11) held on well to finish second last time out over 1m1/2f at Geelong after leading for much of the way. One of the main contenders. FRANK EXPRESS (6) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on February 15, finishing sixth and beaten 4 lengths over 1m2 1/2f at Stony Creek. Makes plenty of appeal.
