DISMOUNT (2) improved sharply on his eighth two starts back at Swan Hill with success over 1m at Benalla a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by half a length. Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done again. PHAROAH'S DAUGHTER (11) has not been a factor of late. Two starts ago could only manage seventh over 7½f at Ballarat Synthetic. Most recently she failed to complete the course at Ballarat Synthetic. Must be given another chance. OUR EMMBAR (8) travelled in a rearwards position then made some inroads and finished 2.5 lengths away in sixth last time out over 6½f at Wangaratta three weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Meets a tougher line-up this time but has winning claims. ALABAMA GIRL (10) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 7½f at Mornington, beaten 6 lengths into tenth. Capable of featuring prominently.
