MY FRIDAY BEAU (5) pushed forward from a wide draw last start and found a position close to the lead before sticking on well to finish second over 7½f at Bendigo. Placed to advantage so expect a forward showing. BRUTALRULE (2) is yet to break through in five runs. Finished fourth at his last appearance over 7½f at Ballarat on April 27. Among the top chances in what looks a most suitable race. VELIA (11) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 1m at Donald, beaten only 0.8 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. BOLSHIE (1) settled well back then found the line nicely to finish fourth, beaten 6 lengths, over this journey at Pakenham last time out. Warrants plenty of respect.
