ALERT AND READY (11) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m1 1/2f at Toowoomba, beaten 6 lengths into fifth. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. SOCIAL STAR (3) finished 2 lengths from the winner in sixth last start over 7f at Gatton, an improvement on her eighth at Toowoomba the run before. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. THE BOI (4) is yet to find the winners' list this time in work but has two placings from three appearances this campaign, finishing 1.75 lengths away in third most recently over 7f at Gatton. Another top-three finish is on the cards. BOVIDAE (5) finished third at Warwick two runs back but was less effective last time over 1m1/2f at Ipswich, finishing 11 lengths back in ninth. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
