STAR CHANCE (8) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 2.5 lengths over 1m1/2f at Ipswich when he made late ground. Finds an easier assignment and can take the next step and salute. GINASUE (10) finished out of the money two starts back then she got a long way back and was beaten 11 lengths when fourth in a 1m3f contest at Sunshine Coast four days ago. This doesn't look as hard so she is one of the main contenders. MAPLE DOOR (5) has not won for a long while. Last raced on October 19 when beaten 3 lengths into fourth at Gold Coast over 1m1f. This is a nice drop in grade so he is perfectly placed to score. DELORME (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m4f at Gold Coast, beaten 11 lengths into seventh. No surprise to see her in the frame.
