ENCRYPTED ELEGANCE (3) showed early speed from an outside draw when fresh from a lay-off last time out and led for much of the way before finding one better at the end of 5½f at Ipswich. Will go forward again and looks tough to beat. VIKING VALOUR (8) is yet to break through after six career starts. Could only manage to finish seventh last time out over 4f at Ipswich following a minor placing at this track when fresh from a lay-off the run prior. Likely to play a major role. DRANG A TANG (15) last appeared when he finished second over 4½f at Texas on December 9. Looks a strong top-three prospect. . Turned in a better run last time when fourth, beaten 1.75 lengths, at Toowoomba over 4f76yards. Has good early toe so she should be handy in the run. One of the better hopes.
