Finds an easier assignment and can turn things around. COSMIC LAD (2) ran below expectations last time at Doomben, finishing tenth and beaten 2.5 lengths starting at 4/1. The engagement of Mitch Stapleford is a positive move. Hard to beat in this suitable race. MONTIGO BAY (7) finished fifth two runs back at Hawkesbury then improved last time out to score by 4.5 lengths over 1m at Wagga. Meets some better types this time but she has the ability to test this field. IRISH BLISS (3) was prominent at the corner and finished second last time over 1m at Gosford, beaten 0.6 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again.
